What is LOFT and LOFT ⁺ Graft Harvesting Technique?
These two methods are two hair follicle (graft) collection techniques developed by Dr. Sadiki.
The method of graft extraction in eyebrow transplantation is very important and is one of the most important factors that determine the result of the transplantation. The fact that the hair follicles are extracted in a long way and without damage makes this technique superior to other techniques. There are two important factors that provide this situation; the first is to use the right technique and the second is to apply the technique correctly. Therefore, graft extraction is an important stage in the LOFT eyebrow transplantation method. Being experienced in the extraction stage is extremely important.
What is the LOFT Recruitment technique?
In the LOFT technique, the number of grafts required for the person’s eyebrow is first calculated, then an area of 5 to 10 cm in length and 1 to 2 cm in thickness (the thickness and length of a pencil) is determined from the nape of the neck, depending on the need. Then, this area needs to be removed and excised by the doctor. This stage must be done by the doctor. The technician or nurse has no authority to perform this procedure. A very thin suture is used to replace the removed tissue, and the suture needs to be removed after 14 days. This technique has advantages and disadvantages.

In this technique, the number of hair follicles (grafts) needed by the person is first calculated.
